The Priory has a regular schedule of meditation, ceremonial, and teaching,
for lay trainees, in the Serene Reflection (Soto Zen) Tradition of

We are affiliated with Charlotte Joko Beck and the Zen Center of San
Diego. The teacher in Portland is Larry Christensen, a Dharma successor
of Joko Beck. There is now a Zen Center of Portland website.

Zen Community of Oregon (ZCO)
A zen practice center based in Portland, Oregon. We are affiliated with
the Soto Zen lineage of Taizan Maezumi Roshi and the Rinzai Zen lineage
of Shodo Harada Roshi. We hold 10-12 sesshins each year and a variety of
classes. We also offer residential programs at Larch Mountain Zen Center.
